The New York Post Rules

New York (INEPT) - As we said before, newspapers usually get it wrong. Usually. But this (somewhat old) football standing from the New York Post shows that once in a rare while, some journalist reaches down into the depths of reporting history and pulls out a downright gem:

The Post Gets It Right

Hello, New England Asterisks. How does that feel?

You have got to be kidding me, I am a Patriot fan and yes, I am ashamed at "SPYGATE" but I am smart enough to know that the Patriots never even got to see what was recorded during those first 7 minutes of the first quarter of that game. Call them cheaters if you like as you whine because your team can't compete with a great team like the Pats.

As for cheaters if breaking the rules is cheating then every team cheats. How can that be you ask? Didn't Belichick and the Pats pay a fine + lose a draft pick for breaking the rules. They have paid the penalty for cheating or breaking the rules.

Ok, now don't you think that if a player holds another player and doesn't get caught by the refs isn't that breaking the rules and cheating. Of courcse it is. tha tis cheating.

In last nights game a San Diego Charger player "Horse collared a Colt and wasn't called. Horse Collaring is illegal. Even th eannouncers called it. So that player was cheating.

Hopefully you get my point.

Go Pats!!!

That little New York post conpared with SI's FRONT COVER headline?

"Still Smiling, Still Perfect, 9 Down and 10 To Go"

...yeah, I think that journalist was probably one of you guys. Doesn't even look like a real magazine page to me. :)

As one can clearly tell by the title of this blog, it is for hating the new england patriots. so more than likely no patriot fan is ever going to change that theme on here by trying to enlighten everyone else about how great their team is. also why is it that most pats fans will try to justify their teams cheating ways by saying that everyone else cheats in some other ways. its obvious that the hatriots can not even win in style (Bellicheat cant even show sportsmanship by shaking hands or talking to the coaches he beats).
Instead of winning with some class they continue to whine week to week (the colts cheated, spygate gave us motivation, blah blah, whine whine whine).

But thats not even what i wanted to post.... Sorry, sometimes my hatred takes over. Instead i wanted to bring this article to the bloggers attention. Its from the boston herald and its called seven steps to history. It lays out the next seven games and the records since 2000. My biggest complaint about this is that they make light of the schedule that they have and basically continue as they have all season to make it a forgone conclusion that they have already went 16-0 (which by the way means nothing without a superbowl, and is tainted since they come out of arguably the worst division in football.)

Also this is my favorite quote from this article -
"The Jets opened Pandora’s box when they accused the Pats of cheating, and the rest of the league has been paying the price ever since. On this afternoon, the Jets will taste the devastation firsthand."
What is up with that, evidently since mangenius finally got them caught in what appears to have been a normal routine for the patriots week to week he has become the number one enemy of hatriot fans abroad.
If you get caught cheating you owe the league and fans an apology. You do not whine about it and throw a tantrum and point the middle finger at everyone in the world.
No one deserves this kind of behavior in a professional sport.

And does anyone at all still buy the humble pie crap?( I never have and never will)

To one Mr. Jay McGillicuddy:

I noted inaccuracies in your post and would like to rectify them for you. I'll attempt to refrain from correcting your numerous grammatical errors as well.

Call them cheaters if you like as you whine because your team can't compete with a great team like the Pats.

Did I miss something? Are we talking about the same Pats who only a few scant years ago were finishing consistently at the bottom of the AFC (barring Oakland)?

As for cheaters if breaking the rules is cheating then every team cheats.

Generally I'd classify learning the other team's motions and playcalling more dirty than a neutral zone infraction, less dirty than a full-on late hit. Or maybe about the same.

Didn't [Belichoke] and the [Hatriots] pay a fine + lose a draft pick for breaking the rules.

I'll assume that this is question, despite no question mark. The truth is, no. Kraft used his fat fingers to sign a check that you helped pay for by buying some absolutely delicious shells and cheese. Belichoke didn't pay a single dime. Besides, everyone knows that draft picks are worthless (with the exception of Adrian Peterson).

[D]on't you think that if a player holds another player and doesn't get caught by the refs isn't that breaking the rules and cheating.

Again with the periods. Invest in a new keyboard. They're remarkably cheap. And it's only cheating if you get caught. Which the Hatriots did. Any more questions?

[Last night] a San Diego Charger "Horse collared a Colt and wasn't called. Horse Collaring is illegal. Even th(sp) eannouncers(sp) called it. So that player was cheating.

There's a big difference from seeing something from six different camera angles complete with HDTV and a TiVo to review than using the Mark One Eyeball on a field crowded with moving players, multi-depth viewing, and generally all the action that takes place during even the simplest of plays.

Hopefully you get my point.

I saw no point being made. I did happen to witness your ass handed to you on a silver platter with all the trimmings, however.

To a one Mr. Alex:

I'd like to make corrections to your post. What can I say, it needed 'em. I will admit that your grammar and spelling are very remarkable. I hope to grow up someday and be able to write like you....which shouldn't be too hard. :)

"Besides, everyone knows that draft picks are worthless (with the exception of Adrian Peterson)."

That's absolutely illogical. Coming from a moronic hater this is no surprise. I'm not going to bother explaining why this is such a stupid comment, as it should be obvious.

"There's a big difference from seeing something from six different camera angles complete with HDTV and a TiVo to review than using the Mark One Eyeball on a field crowded with moving players, multi-depth viewing, and generally all the action that takes place during even the simplest of plays."

There's also something called "Reviewing the Play".

"Generally I'd classify learning the other team's motions and playcalling more dirty than a neutral zone infraction, less dirty than a full-on late hit. Or maybe about the same."

So every team in the NFL is more dirty than a neutral zone infraction, yet less dirty than a full-on late hit. Or maybe the same. The Pats got caught doing something bad, but it doesn't mean that the other teams in the NFL didn't do the same thing.

"Did I miss something? Are we talking about the same Pats who only a few scant years ago were finishing consistently at the bottom of the AFC (barring Oakland)?"

This is the present. The Patriots are a much better team. Get out of your mom's basement.

I was thinking of an ending to this post, but quoting you is accurate enough:

"I saw no point being made. I did happen to witness your ass handed to you on a silver platter with all the trimmings, however."

I know it's getting a little rough for the Colts after losing to San Diego on MNF, but the Colts might not even make the playoffs this year.

That would be pretty pathetic, but the big question is: Will the Colts finally run out excuses?

Who can you blame?

Belicheck?
Brady?
The RCA dome DJ?
Tony's pal baby Jeebus?

Bonus question:
In which of the remaining games this season will Peyton Manning throw 7 interceptions?

What an idiot!! You just come on here and assume it is a colts fan site. If you had used your half a brain which has been fried by bellicheats brainwashing skills, you would have seen this is a patriots hating site. This site does not care who plays the patriots. We will support anyone who plays againts them every week for so many reasons I don't have time to type. Stop crying about how no one gives the patriots credit and talk about real football. Acknoledge your teams weaknesses with their strengths.

Stop eating lead based paint you morons.

"Stop crying about how no one gives the patriots credit and talk about real football. Acknoledge your teams weaknesses with their strengths."

Coming from a Hater called "I loathe Bellicheat and the Hatriots", this is pretty pathetic. This entire site is hypocritical if Haters post things like the one above. All you guys do is whine, and you dare tell US not to whine??? And to talk about REAL footbll? Oh, wait, let's not forget the weaknesses and strengths.

Funny how I and a bunch of other football fans are willing to discuss things like that with you all, but stupid assholes like you keep posting shit about Belichick's name or coming up with new monomers for the Patriots. Moron, why don't you go give yourself a good once-over before posting idiotic things like that?

And no one said the Pats don't get any respect....we're just pissed off that you all can't let the cheating thing go. Honestly, at this point, no one remembers it except Haters like you. The Pats are 9-0. It. Doesn't. Matter.

Oh by the way, I'm pretty sure "acknoledge" isn't a verb.

Ok first of all why dont you just not come to this site since it is clearly not for you. Go make an "I love the patriots" blog and enjoy people that share your same interest. Its obvious that you are bothered that everyone does not just love them. sorry that i make gramatical erors whyle eye type. i guess i will never stack up to your intellect.

but seriously... you clearly just search the internet for patriot hating sites so you can get on here and put in your two cents where they are not welcome.

S'alright, man, SI didn't put a single asterisk near the Patriots' beloved dynasty. I'm not worried on some random NY post journalist who's probably a Colts fan.

Which reminds me- Hater In Chief, what's your rebuttal for SI's obvious love for this great team which you harbor your obvious hatred for?

I'm curious.

I just thank God the Gaytriots are on at night for three weeks so I can simply go to bed and imagine a Sunday of football without them. They might not be cheating, but at least they keep running up the score, proving they are continually trying to prove something. There's no saying they aren't cheating... they just aren't getting caught!

Thank you SOOOOOOOOO much for your blog! I am sick to death of hearing about the stupid Overratriots!!!!

The Colts completely outplayed these frauds with several starters out including Harrison, Ugoh, and Keiaho. I can't wait for the Monday morning shows on January 21 when the media glee club has tears in their eyes as they are forced to admit that their phony, cheating, heroes got blown completely out of the stadium in Foxboro by the Colts!

To Sick Of The Cheating Bastards:

Cry some more, why don't you.

I can't wait until I see you whine and make big predictions for next year when the Pats win the Super Bowl and blow Peyton Manning out of the stadium. And the media hates Belichick, so they will only be crying when he wins the Super Bowl and refuses to let his secrets out- get your facts right.

By the way...

LOL COLTS AHAHAHAHAHAH

Slipped by with a sad win to the chiefs.....talk some more shit when your team is actually awesome.

I agree with with 12 year old Patriot fan "Sick of Colts Fans" on one thing. My prediction of a Colt victory in Foxboro may not come true.

Actually the Overratriots look more like a playoff one and done to me so the Colts won't get a chance to blow them out in Foxboro.

They have a mediocre running game, the defense is an old hollow shell, and the only offense they managed against the Colts was a few long bombs. That is a recipe for a playoff one and done.

3:12 AM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

You haters are pathetic. The Patriots are a solid team, poised to break MANY records this season.

I haven't heard commentators mention Spygate in awhile. Know why? It made no impact on the season, other than to give the illusion of justification to sad, misguided people like you.

Thanks for the site. It's good for laughs.

"They have a mediocre running game, the defense is an old hollow shell, and the only offense they managed against the Colts was a few long bombs."

Oh, but with all those things we beat the Colts....must say something about Manning, eh?

2:53 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

I don't think football fans that hate the Patriots would deny that they are a solid team. I think they are horrible to watch roll over their opponents. Their games are too predictable. Plus, their coach is so unlikeable, that it is dropping down to the players. I can't stand Tom Brady anyway, but New Englanders think he's a God. Belichick is a lousy human being, along with dead-beat dad, Brady. Randy Moss is no saint either. They are only people, not Gods. AND this is only a football team.

To be honest, I like the way Pittsburgh is playing. They are down to smash-mouth football. I don't care that they have three losses, because they learn where their weaknesses are from these losses. I am not a Steeler fan, but I do like what they are doing, and I look forward to them in the playoffs.

Seriously, no fans can talk

talk to me about the patriots when they win a superbowl by more than a point without Vinatieri.

Retards.

10:11 AM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

I'm talking to you, you jackass- do you think Vinatieri would have an opportunity to even raise us up by a few points in the fricken Bowl if Brady hadn't gotten those touchdowns to bring the score up in the first place?

Stupid moron.

And stop watching porn to check up on your facts- the Patriots haven't won their SuperBowls by one point.

Besides, the Colts used Vinatieri to win their sly victory against the Redskins, 23-24.

Shove that up your ass.

12:15 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

The typical Patriot fan above is correct.

Fumble Game SB - win by FG
Frozen Field Game SB - win by FG
Receiver Mugging Game SB - win by FG
So yes, Vinatieri did win these championships by 3 points each.

It doesn't really matter too much anyway since we all know that PATS is just another way of saying PAST. They won their titles on the strength of their defense and that defense no longer exists.

Oh, and for a few giggles, take a look sometime at Randy Moss and Dante Stallworth's cold weather productivity. :)

One and done!

Wait, I can't hear you- over our impending Super Bowl trophy.

I love you morons who are already saying you won the Super Bowl that's two MONTHS from now. You're my heroes. Try bragging once the Pats actually win it, dumbass.

And, you're still cheaters. CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEATERS.

"Dynasty"? In China, dynasties usually lasted more than 5 or 6 years. You're such an idiot. It pains an intelligent person such as myself to even TRY to think as little as you do.

Oh, yeah. Did I mention the Pats are dirty cheaters? Think I did.

Cheaters.

7:25 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

If you still think Spygate is a factor in the Patriots' dynasty (yes, I said DYNASTY, bitch) then you need to get out of your mom's basement. Or the closet. And glad to know you think you're smart. Find someone else who shares that point of view and then start talking.

The more I say "cheaters", the more intelligent the posts get! I don't think I'm smart. I know I am. Not as smart as the douche who said this isn't China (really? Good to know), but pretty close. Five or six years of extremely good luck plus a little cheating for good measure doesn't make a dynasty, 'tards. Find someone else who shares my point of view? Try, like, everybody save for the dumbassed bandwagon jumping Pat 'fans' on here.

Cheaters. Keep making less sense. You amuse my large and awesome brain.

Wow. I think you've got your head size and brain size mixed up.

To be fair, though, you were the one who brought up China in the first place- and we DO talk about football here....

But don't worry, it's alright bro. We all need a place to whine like a little bitch when the team we're jealous of goes 10-0.

....No wait, I do believe it's 11-0 now, right?
